There has been alot of progress in the last week. Tucker is going out AND coming in both doggie doors now. Last week he'd go out, but I would have to go out and make him come in the house. Today, with the rain, he has been going out, doing his thing and coming back in on his own. I don't think he likes getting wet!

He also barked last night to let let us know he needed to go outside. I forgot to take out the doggie door security block and he couldn't get outside...so he let us know with a quick bark! This is the first time I have heared his voice...it was wonderful.

He's eating good...no problems there. The pacing the back fence is decreasing every day. He does love to lay in the grass and watch the goings on in the backyard! As long as he's not pacing, we let him stay out as long as he wants. I caught him yesterday, laying on the patio, legs stretched out behind him. This was the first time I have seen him "sprawled out" like that.He was truly comfortable in his surroundings.

He still runs from us if we approach him. If he's in his bed or cornered, we can pet him, but he still growls until we start petting, then he quiets down. We make it a point to scratch him several times a day. We are always talking to him.

I have attached a picture of him in his new bed...he loves it! Dad and I couldn't be more thrilled to have him around.
