Dear Linda & Lori:

Hope all is well in Ohio and you guys are not getting too much snow.  We have had one blizzard that I regularly had to shovel “a spot” for the Liz to go to, but other than that it has been just cold.  Lizzie is doing incredible.  It is hard to believe that she has only been with us for 4 months.  She absolutely loves our cat – my guess is the cat could care less about her, but nevertheless they are cute together.  Lizzie is now more comfortable with other people coming/going to our house.  She plays by herself with her favorite stuffed bunny and loves rawhide treats.  She only has recently discovered to play with us.  She is still a little spooked at times and is not sure of our body language, but she has a blast biting our hands.  I think I am taking her for a grooming this weekend…wish us luck!  She has had her nails trimmed and was good for that so maybe the entire grooming won’t be so bad.  House training is going okay…some days are better than others – I think I am the one that is trained to regularly put her outside, but she is the one that is trained to know the command “GO” once she is out there.  Take care of yourselves and all the animals that need you!
