Well I just had a birthday on December 18, 2009 and am proud to say I am now 2 yrs old. There was a time when I wasn't sure I'd make it, but thanks to Kristina, all my friends at Marilyn's Voice, and my adoptive parents I have come a long way and know I have made it.

When Mom and Dad adopted me back in March 2009, I had many issues as I was a victim of extreme physical abuse. Thanks to lots of love from all of you and patience from my parents, I am proud to say I have earned a Certificate of Accomplishment from Happy Trails Training School and completed the American Kennels Good Citizenship Class. I've got two really nice Certificates that I am really proud of. Don't get me wrong, I still can be a pistol when I want to, but when I get 'that look' from my parents I know I've to behave.

I've gained 4 pounds over the past 10 months and get a shampoo, hair cut and pedicure on a regular basis. At first I didn't care for the noise the clippers make but as time went on I got use to them t and I've made some really good friends at the shop; Carrie give me a new bandana every time I come.

During the warm weather I went everywhere with my Dad while Mom was at work. I really like riding in the car, going to the park, and of course shopping. There is this really neat store that I actually get to go in and the lady at the check out gives me a treat for being a good boy.

When the fall came I played in the leaves. I also got to go out for Halloween and did very well with all the trick or treaters...got a few treats too. The very first snowfall really threw me. I didn't know what that stuff was falling from the sky, and when it accumulated I couldn't find my legs. After about three minutes or so my paws were cold so Dad picked me up, dusted me off and took me in the house and snuggled.
My parents love to snuggle with me ...I've got them trained real well.
