| oh wow - this is just so incredibly sad. I had the pleasure of meeting Marilyn at a Petland boycott in Cleveland Heights. She truly inspired. I am just now finding out about her passing. She was an inspiration in life and remains an inspiration. I am so so sorry to hear about this. She was beautiful in so many ways.

| Kristina, I read about this beautiful little girl again, and cried again. I feel that you are a Godsend to all these little babies. You are a Godend to me as well, you have educated me on puppy mills and I am now educating others as well. You also brought into my life another little sweet heart Lucy. I want to thank you and your staff for all that you have done to make this special event happen. I will always remember each and everyone of you with a special place in my heart. My Gizmo will be so happy to have a little sister to run around with, thanks from Gizmo too.
I am a believer that one day we will all see eachother again and never part. Your little girl is running around, giving you all the strenght to have you save all these other poor little ones,I think you are so special words can not express what a special person you are.
Thank you Beth for caring for lucy, charlie and the whole gang and for being a great foster mom, these little guys could of not done without you. Lori thank you for doing a great reference check on all the little ones to get their forever loving home. I will always keep you all posted on lucy through out her life. Thank you again you made someone in buffalo very happy. |

| Dear Kristina, I guess you could say that Maggie is Tinas saviour in a way. I got Maggie out of that horrid place and turned it in. Mags is a beautiful little girl Yorkie who is thankfully healthy, now spayed and given all of her shots. Im so sorry to hear of Marilyns passing and her story is so terrible, just as Tinas is . Thankfully you are there for her and Foxy. Please feel free to contact me at kajunstars@hotmail.com or get my number from Sheila, I would love to speak with you. Respectfullly, CJ |

| It is still so hard for me, when I walk in to take care of the kids, not to look for little Marilyn, she and Cassanova and the cats were always so glad to see Aunt Kris! I still think Nova is somewhat lost wout his little Marilyn to guide the way and my heart goes out to Kristina.
Marilyn was sooo fortunate to have Kristina as her mom and Marilyn was able to open doors to help other puppy mill pups. Marilyn is still very much missed. |

| I havent known Marilyn as long as some of you have but when i saw her for the first time and i heard her story i knew she was fighting for a good cause. So I comitted my life to marilyn and started a group at school called the K-9 club. by the end of the year over 38 people joined and we spread the word! Marilyn may have ended her time on this earth but she will always live inside every one of our souls. |

| Kris,
Reading Marilyns story a 2nd time still brings tears to my eyes. As you know, we just adopted a very special angel from Marilyns Voice. Although he wasnt from a puppy mill, his fate was still sealed being at the city pound until you rescued him. Hes such a joy to have and has made a wonderful playmate for Molly, our 6 yr old dog. How many other special angels lose their lives to neglegent owners and how much suffering must these dogs endure from these puppy mills before they are stopped I just wrote my congressman regarding his awareness to these pet stores and mills. They have to be stopped. Thank you again Kristine for Marilyns Voice. If it were not for you, we wouldnt have little "Scooter". |

| I am so sorry about Marilyns passing away, I think about her often. Although I had the priviledge of meeting her only a week before she went to heaven it was obvious how special she was. Her voice will continue to be heard by many thanks to your compassion and dedication to bringing puppy mills to an end. |

| Kristina....Marilyn had a mission in life to help end the suffering of puppy mill dogs. Fortunately she found you who realized the problem and started MarilynsVoice. She may be physically gone but one thing that cant be taken from you are the memories. Cherish those forever. Its been a pleasure to assist you in trying to end puppy mills and I look forward to continuing the fight with you. |

| Kristina,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Marilyn. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I was honored to feature that darling little sweetheart puppy in The Heart of Lake County Magazine, and I hope many people will be there for other puppys, and take them into their heart like you took Marilyn into yours! May Gods blessings be yours, and may he take care of Marilyn in "pet heaven!"

| Kristina, I am so glad that God had our paths cross to meet and you could tell me about your website and Marilyn. I am touched and very blessed to hear your story. This confirms what I know and love about you and your loving heart. I am grieved for your loss, but rejoice that you had Marilyn even for a short time. As I hug my dogs, Toby & Chad, I will tell them how blessed Marilyn was to have time to spend with you on her journey. God bless you. |

| Dear Kristina,
I am so sorry and sad to hear about Marilyn. I first met her at an event at the Polo fields. You were holding her and she was so adorable I had to walk up to her and start talking to you. Then I realized not only was she darling, but also very brave and that she had suffered miserably in her past life. She truly was an inspiration. Im so glad that you rescued her, and that her last years were loving. May she rest in peace. |

| Dear Kristina,Myheart pours out to you and the tears. This is hardest part in life to go through. Someone who gives love, laughter and
company is gone its horrible feeling. It hurts
so much! When I tell someone I had loss in a
family. They are thinkng I am talking about person. Then they give me strange look. They dont
understand GRIEF and PAIN.
We all go through and try to go on living without
our four legged love of our life. Its long healing
time forever. Marilyn is a very special gift to
you Kristina. Marilyn has voice letting people know about puppymills. Which is going make her
live forever.
This was so hard for you and painful. It will
make you stronger and Marilyns Voice will be
bigger. I loved that dog my heart pours to
you Kristina. I will miss Marilyn forever.

| Your frail little body may have given out, but your mighty spirit lives on along with the legacy you left behind, that is to never give up the mission. Your story has been a rippling effect reaching out to so many concerned people who, now more than ever, understand the consequences of a deplorable beginning to life. Dance around us, little angle-girl, free of pain.
Love, Grandma

| Wow Kristina what can I say, I was shocked to hear about Marilyn’s passing. She really was the cutest little dog I’ve ever seen. I thank God you two found each other and that she was able to know unconditional love that she so deserved. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Marilyn, and the organization you and Marilyn created – Marilyn’s Voice! Keep up the good fight Kristina. Your group has done so much for those animals that cannot help themselves. You should be very proud of yourself! I sure am. Love, Renée |

| When my mom first told me she died, i was reading it in an e-mail at school and i almost started crying right there. its true that as soon as you saw her you couldnt resist wanting to pick her up and cuddle her because she was so adorable, and she knew it,but she had a quiet way of showing it. Marilyn was so special, and shell be so missed by everyone. |

| I dont think words will ever explain how any of us truly feel about Marilyn and Marilyns Voice. That little girl touched every person she met. Kristina is right when saying Marilyn was meant for her. Without her meeting Kristina she would not have known the unconditional love of a real mommy, and Kristina is the best mommy. Marilyn was able to continue in her struggles because that little angel had a purpose on this earth, now she is at peace. I am proud to say I knew Marilyn and will continue to do whatever I can to bring awareness to those who dont know about what happens to these defenseless little babies, all to make a buck. I too have met a great person and friend in Kristina. The ultimate dream will be the day we shut down Marilyns Voice because our goal has been reached. Marilyn you were a special little girl and you have a special mommy to tell your story. Thank you to you both. Love always, Katie |

| Losing a beloved pet, a family member, is one of the hardest things to go through. the pain never goes away, but it does diminish. Because of the loss of Marilyn we all need to work even harder to shut all of the horrible puppy mills down so that the suffering of innocent creatures is stopped forever! Marilyn was blessed to have Kristina as a mommy and have 2 years of a good home and unconditional love. Marilyn was the smallest dog that I have ever tested and certified for Therapy Dogs International. TDI has lost a special therapy dog. Marilyn has earned her wings and we can take solice in knowing that she will be a guardian angel for those in need. Sweet Dreams, Marilyn. |

| Kristina,
I was devastated when I read about Marilyn. I remember when you brought her home thinking that Id never seen anything so precious in my life. Ill never forget those first days with her, watching everything that you went through with her to help her find healing. What I remember most is when I held her for the first time. Ill never forget her eyes, she was such a wise old soul. I am so very sorry for what I know is the pain that you are feeling right now,I know how much you miss her. I believe that Marilyn knew ultimately that she had a real purpose to fulfill and a limited amount of time to do it with. When you think about it, it was amazing how you got her and no coincidence at all. I am sure that she knew that you were the only mommy that could be her voice and that you would help her fulfill her lifes purpose. We are all much finer for having known her, yet I will always miss her mightily.

| I remember the first time I met Marilyn... right after we met, Kristina and I went on a wild goose chase to try to find the auction place for the Geauga Dog Auction, which would never come to be. The entire ride, she lay on my lap, and I fell in love. She would take an occassional drink of water from the cap of a water bottle. I remember asking Kristina why Marilyn didnt eat from a regular dish... Marilyn was scared of bowls because of something bad that happened to her at the puppy mill.
The more I got to know her the more I fell in love. Such a loving girl.. .never nervous, never snippy.. never anything but loving and ready to give millions of kisses to whoever wanted them. And that was always EVERYBODY!
Another memory that stands out happened not so long ago.. Kristina and I went to dinner with Will, our vet, after dropping a dog off to his foster home. We ate out on a patio and Marilyn, of course, was with us. She made quick friends with everybody but that little dickens knew immediately where the kitchen was! She trotted in her adorable way over to the door, stopping at every employee who walked by as if to say "do YOU have something for me to taste" How many dogs would get away with this Not many.... but Marilyn did more than that. She not only got away with this... people begged for her return wherever we went.
The biggest impact Marilyn had on me was bringing me to meet someone who was to become one of my very best of friends.. Kristina. Someone I admire for compassion and strength and wisdom and courage... a faithful friend I know I will live the rest of my life adoring.
I knew Marilyn for much to short a time... but I cant remember NOT knowing her. The fact that I will never see her again is unreal to me. I remain strong with positive words and an "it will be ok" attitude for Kristina and our members, but when I am alone I cry. I wish I could hold her one more time... tell her I love her... rub her little face against my cheek like I always would, surely leaving a nice patch of blush on her soft fur...
I love you Marilyn. You live forever in my heart. We will carry on your memory forever. Through us you will NEVER be silenced.

| Marilyn was put in this world for a purpose. To us she wasnt here long enough and we felt she had so much more she could have accomplished. To her, perhaps she felt she was leaving the organization in capable, caring hands and we could go on without her. Little did she know how many hearts are breaking today because of her passing. Prior to Marilyns passing I was assembling a video of the Marilyns Voice Happy Tails. Unfortunately I had to revise it to include her untimely death. Because of Marilyn and so many dogs like her, we have a long way to go in our fight to save the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. The Marilyns Voice animals that now find their forever homes because of her legacy will be forever in her debt. |
